Bird Hunting

I stepped out of my studio for a few moments this morning and when I came back guess who was out hunting my birds!  Winston!  I think he decided it was to big to fit in his mouth!

See this photo is putting your birds into perspective for me. They are much larger than I envisioned them to be. I'm so glad Winston didn't go after one of them.

I too am surprised at the size of the bird! And Winston is one smart cat, that bird looks delicious!!

I love the red of the face and how the tail feathers fall onto the ironboard as though it is real and not a block. Lovely!

Barb, Your cat is so cute and I love the quilt. Some day I want you to make a quilt for me with a Chinese Ring Neck Pheasant on it for my husband. Have you seen one?

Funny. I'm surprised the cat is not curled up on the bird.

Your bird quilt is much larger than I'd imagined. It's going to be beautiful.

I have to be one more person who is surprised at the size of the bird! Love the cat too.

Love the bird and I am so glad you are making it large enough to show off the details.

Looks great on the design wall.

That is a precious shot, love it.
Now i can see how big the birds are, that would be beautiful on a main wall. I should try to make mine larger, maybe then I could get more detail.

The birds are 20 inches approximately. Seems everyone is surprised at their size. They are bigger and I am happy Winston is helping to show that! :)
