This is a gorgeous creature! Absolutely wonderful!
I just love him and love the thread painting, such a beautifully natural piece.Debbie
Thank you so very much. I was struggling a few times but it was all worth it.
The final stitching all done! Congrats on a beautiful piece. He is quite a handsome fellow. Always amazing how that last bit of stitching adds to the work, even when it seems impossible that it could get any better!!!
You're a genious!
There is a lot of stitching in this one! The pine needles alone must have taken hours. He definitely has that 'look'.
This is no less than amazing, Barbara. I really love this piece! Beautiful work!
I am so blown away by this (as well as previous pieces!)! Remarkable!
Hi Barbara,I've had the pleasure of working with your brother, Jeff, for many years, and see that he is not the only creative genius in the family! He passed along your blog address to a few of us. What amazing, beautiful work you do! My sister is a fiber artist with her home-grown alpaca fiber - dyeing, spinning, knitting - so I very much appreciate the work and love that goes into these types of endeavors. Thanks for sharing.
So beautiful! That owl looks alive.
I would love to try my hand and mind at one of these, but don’t know where to start. I am a pastel artist and a quilter. Any suggestions...books, classes?
