So Much To Do It Must Be Spring!

Seems it has been a while since I have posted.  Time just keeps moving on as I have been pulled in so many directions.  First it was car shopping for three days.  It was successful and we now have a new Ford Edge.  I love it and it is the perfect height and size for me to get around in.  Then there was a lot of yard cleanup.  Luckily we did that while it was in the 70's last week since last night we had a freeze and today it only got up to 48.  Now we are choosing new counter tops and having the installer come over Wednesday to measure.  It will mean having the white cabinets freshly painted and putting in a backsplash.  I have not chosen anything yet so this may take a while.

I have gotten in the studio for small bits of time.  I made the above 12 X 12 quilted pieces.  The blue one is going to have a fish or three on it with some reeds and other underwater plant life.  The center one is going to have a poppy or two or three in it along with leaves etc.  The bottom one which really is a deep purple is going to have a sunflower in it.   I am making these for my future Etsy shop which I am going to open sometime this year.  I thought I needed to add some smaller pieces to my inventory.
Then I am still working on my Walk in the Woods piece.  Just adding a few trees on the left side which go into the fused binding.

It is hard posting this
since I have to type with
this guy on my arm...........
but I wouldn't have it any other way.......

Isn't it fun to have a little help with typing, lol.
I love the idea of a sunflower on the purple, nice contrast. I have some blue batiks that I am saving for sea and water pieces.
