Can someone tell me how a blogger enables their comments so the person who they made the comment to can respond? I used to know but can not remember. Thanks
The header that has the name of the commenter is a live link ... that is, if that person has a link. Just click on it to get there to find the personal info to respond directly. This is what I know ;-) If there's a more direct way to get that info, I'd be interested.
You can adjust your settings for comments to have comments arrive by email and you can then respond that way without having to track back on your blog. (not sure if that's what you mean?)
You have to go into Edit Profile but they have changed it so much with the new interface that it isn't easy to find. I can tell you step by step if you need it. Also they have to have a Google Profile so if they are word press or one of the others, they still need to create a Google profile with a link to their blog.
Barbara, I'm becoming very disenchanted with Blogger and all the changes they insist on imposing. Still can't access my original blog, can't even delete comments there. Yet on my new blog people have trouble leaving comments. Sorry I can't help more and hope you find an answer.
