Quilting in the Snow

Yesterday we had about 3 inches of snow.  It looked pretty out the front store window.

By the time I closed it was not looking so pretty but more slippery for the drive home.
The restaurant across the street was empty.

Today it is fine and I spent the morning quilting on my Daughter In Laws Christmas Gift.
It was one of those mornings where there were so many interruptions and thread changes I did not make near the progress that I was hoping for.
Tomorrow we are supposed to get up to 10 inches of snow, so I wonder how business will be.   May be a better day for Quilting!

Not fun if you have to go out in it, but nice for staying home and quilting. We just have cold so far, but still good to sit and work on christmas projects.

Barb - please be careful in the snow - especially when it freezes after dark.

Enjoy your day of quiet quilting.

I figured you would get a little more snow than we did since we were on the southern edge of the storm. We got above freezing today and are supposed to get heavy rain tomorrow, turning to snow on early Sunday. What a strange winter. The snow is pretty to look at as long as the roads are clear.

Hey, be careful driving and walking in that stuff. Stay warm and hunker down today:)

Chilly chilly cold! Stay safe and call in sick today and have fun in the warmth of your studio with your furry sweetie!
