New Side Bar Buttons

Well I have been busy quilting my "IT" piece every free moment I have been able to muster up.  In between, I have added  a few new buttons on my side bar (see right side of blog page).  The first one is my "Art Quilt Shoppe" which has some of my quilts that I am selling.  It is not totally finished yet but I have a few up there.

In addition to that button is one linking you to my daughter's new blog called "Sweet Tweets" where she is selling the cutest little birds (called "dumplings") at very reasonable prices.  Be sure to take a peak I am pretty proud of her design.

Sad news about my little robin that was in the nest on my porch.  We found the nest empty and knew he was not ready to leave yet.  The parents were out in the front yard chirping away so we knew he was out there somewhere but could not find him.  We have had so much rain that it concerned me.  A few days later we did find him but he was gone.  I felt so bad even though I know this is natures way.

In the meantime the finches all flew their nest and guess what...they have layed another batch already!  I will try to get photos of those as they grow.  The Finches are much more tolerant of me getting near their babies so I am hoping for some good photos of them.

Barb, I know that little animals dying is nature's way, buy I always feel it deeply also. We get so attached, especially to a little critter who is right outside our home. You have a "fellow sufferer" here. Hugs, Cameron

Oh, I have been burning the midnight oil for my IT! piece also. I should finish it tonight. Not in love with it but I think it is "adequate." I just had trouble with the picture this time. Every time I tried to sketch something, it just ended up feeling like a Kindergarten picture of flowers and rainbows and butterflies, oh my!

It is sad but it is natures way. I was worried from the beginning because of stray cats.

I checked my buttons and they seem okay from my trying them. Be sure you click on the picture.

I will let my daughter know the bird lady likes her designs! Thanks Nellie.
