Goose Quilting

Been quilting like a mad woman to get this finished on time.

It is fun to free motion quilt again.  I find it relaxing unless you start having tension problems.  So far so good.  I used Sulky thread and it is reflecting quite a bit with the flash on the camera.
Not quite that much in reality.

I love FMQing too. I agree--definitely hard to relax when you have tension problems.

It's great. I use Sulky a lot.

I like the shininess that is more subtle than using metallic thread.

I enjoy free motion too and hoping to start experimenting with some pieces, soon.
Love the stitching, it really enhances the piece.

I like the way you used contrasting lines...the angles on the goose vs the curves in the background.

Looking beautiful! I love shiny threads and agree it serves a similar purpose as metallics without being garish.

Barb, Love the whole picture, especially the contrast of the winter colors of the goose against the warm colors in the background. Stunning. Still can't wait for the next interpretation!!!
I really like the new blog setup. It is new isn't it? Sometimes I am not very observant.
