Hatched

Last night after supper I went out to water my hanging plants on my front porch.  Mrs. Robin took off and guess what I saw?  The first baby has hatched!

They are funny looking creatures before feathers and oh so pink!

There is a great little quilt show on Alex Anderson & Ricky Timm's site.
If you have time it is worthwhile:

What a lucky discovery.

Aaaawwwwww... so that's what a newly hatched robin looks like. We didn't see ours until their little heads with beaks wide open peeked over the rim of the nest. You're in for an interesting couple of weeks. Before you know it they'll be out of that nest and off the porch. We miss ours.

What fun to catch it just at that moment.

Barbara,I had been so looking forward to your May interpretation, and it is wonderful. I love the swing, what childhood memories. You have such a gift. How does a person find out which of your quilts are for sale? Hugs, Cameron
