Construction

I cut out all my pieces for my goose late last night.  They have the fusible on the backs of them.

Then I positioned them on top of my teflon sheet until they looked right and fused them together.

After fusing it all together I pinned it on my quilt just to check the colors with the background.
Looks like he is way too small in comparison to the corn stalks.  He will have to be redone or moved to the background and another made for the foreground.   Not sure I want two geese in this quilt.
I may try cutting down the width of the stalks instead.
This is the time it is good to walk away and then come back and rethink.

The goose is looking great. I think the cornstalks could be narrower. I have some of the batik you used for feathers. Since I rarely do anything realistic I would never have thought of using it for that.

The goose is perfect. I'd change the cornstalks...

Your geese are great. I have a short story about some Canadian geese on my latest post and some pictures. Cameron
