Black and White

You may think this to be a black and white photo but it is not. We are having a snow storm with over 12 inches so far. It causes the loss of most all color outside. Include a gray garage and it is no longer a color photograph. Look closely though, you will see a touch of red....yes, it is the cranberries on the tree to the left. Somehow Nature brings us color in the bleakest of days.

I have been working on two secretive quilts. One is a gift and the person it is for visits my blog so I can not show it until I have a chance to give it to them. The other is my interpretation of this month's photo for the blog "Interpret This!" (See button on side bar). So unfortunately neither one can be shared right now. Hopefully soon though.

It has looked like that around here for a few days but today the sun came out and everything sparkled!

I've never forgotten the bitter cold and snowy winters from the years I lived near Lake Geneva, WI. Utah winters are for wimps by comparison!

If you had not said that it was a regular photo, I would have for sure said it was a black and white one. Really incredible, truly, especially to this CA girl:) Stay warm buddy!

It's a beautiful photo. We have that gray and white here today, but missed the last one.

I can't keep a secret so don't tell me, for heaven's sake.
