I am still the mad quilter, but finally got the computer set up in my studio thanks to my daughter, Molly. So now when I am about to quit for the night, I can perhaps visit some of your blogs as well as post some of what I have been doing.
Here is the Tulips with a new border on it. It needed something to fill the background a bit.

Next is "Mother in the Meadow" done in lavender as required.

"The Sailboat" is again a mother with her baby.

To take a break from the mother's and babies, I did "Pelicans" with babies of course.

And in progress......"Egrets". Mother and baby on a stroll.
So are you grasping a theme here? Yes, the commission is for all the labor and delivery rooms in a hospital. I have 20 more of these to do! Luckily they do not ALL have to be of
mothers and babies, just some of them.
I have to say this is very hard work. I am getting such great support from my dh, Bob.
He has taken over much of what I do each day and I think when this is over he will have a new respect for what we women handle on a day to day basis. That is always a good thing.
Well....I am taking a break tonight so I think I will close for now.
PS. None of these have their bindings on yet, but the first five do!
