No Time No Progress

Here is "My Pods" after taking fabric markers and coloring over the threads on each pod. It was a great success in bringing them forward again instead of behind the quilting. I used the same technique on some of the leaves and stems.

Now I am quilting the borders but have only been able to find about 10 minutes in each day of the week so far. It has been frustrating but so many things have been distracting me from studio time that it can not be helped. Hopefully I can return to some sort of normalcy soon.

It takes quite a bit of time to do all of the coloring but it looks really great now.

Great solution and I am so glad that it worked out. I bet you feel relieved. It is a beautiful piece so keep at it when you can:)

I think it looks great. Now, your pods still have the same sense of flow with the background quilting stitches, but the color is right, too. Perfect!!!

I'm right there with you on the time constraints. And my energy has been dwindling lately, too. Just pace yourself. Ten minutes at a time is better than no minutes.

Very nice! A few minutes is better than no minutes I guess.
