Blondes have more fun?

I decided my blonde did not have the movement I wanted, so I gave her a new body. Now I think she is having more fun! I plan to add a hint of lace below her skirt to lengthen it just bit. The sun was shining in the window so I apologize for the photo.

Then last night, while watching tv, I did some more beading. I am getting the hang of it now and move along a little faster. I really like doing it as it is relaxing and yet keeps me from eating. (I am on a diet to lose 10 pounds before summer!)

It is freezing cold here. You really have to bundle up whenever you go out and not forget your gloves or your hands freeze in a matter of minutes. Soon it will be February though and once that is over we are on our way to spring!

It's interesting to watch the progress of both these quilts. This is the first I've seen a quilt built the way you're doing the one with the playing children ... on the whole background complete with border.
Thanks ;-)

Barbara-I do like the blonde also now and am glad that you will add a little length to her skirt. My favorite though is the girl with the ponytail-you captured her completely in motion in a perfect way.

Thanks as always,
Libby

Because certain elements in the quilt will overlap the border I added it early. Blondie will have a piece of lace added to the bottom of her skirt later to make it a bit longer too.
