The Day After Christmas

Christmas has come and gone. It was such a joy to have family come home and celebrate but sad that not all can come. Both of our Indiana girls and their families could not make it due to weather. It is usually something that happens each year so we expect it. We definitely will try to get there as soon as we can take some time off.

Our other three children did make it with their spouses, son, boyfriend and dog! We had a wonderful time and celebrated our Grandson Max's first birthday as well. It is officially today!
This is what it is all about. Family.

I just found your blog and enjoyed it very much. I'm a traditional quilter, but I very much would like to branch out. Our youngest son's birthday is Dec 26th also. Its tough to have big days back to back, BUT it beats a Dec 24th or Christmas birthday! When he was small, ALL the kids showed up at his party. The parents had wound up kids with nothing to DO! HA!

I am so glad you are enjoying my blog.
Yes, poor Max is pretty close to Christmas, but we enjoyed the day anyway. My oldest son Jason, was born on the 15th of Dec. and I thought that was bad enough. It is not easy for those Christmas Babies.
