Yesterday was Christmas at my Mother's. It was a lot of fun and we are all grateful to have our
Mom still with us at 88! This part of the house was built in the '70's and Mom insisted on putting windows on the one wall so she could look down from her bedroom. This house is so unique and I love coming home because of it.
Happy Christmas Eve to all! Tomorrow my children and grandchildren come home to our house for Christmas Day.
We now have over a foot of snow and it has just started again with round two. The wind is supposed to pick up now and then it will be blizzard conditions tonight. Did I wish for a white Christmas? Someone was definitely listening!
Today I met my good friend & fellow artist, Nellie Durand. We have been friends for so many years but never met. Today was the day and we had lunch together. She gave me a beautiful pin she made that I am wearing in this photo. We are hoping to see each other every year when she comes to Whitefish Bay to visit.
A cup of tea will be waiting for you on the front porch Nellie!
Each year my daughter, Molly, and I have a day of baking cookies for Christmas. We split them up and then we each have a nice supply for our Christmas celebrations and friends. I think the photos are self explanatory. We had a lot of fun.
