90th Birthday
My Mother, Marjorie Lillian Strobel, turned 90 on June 9th. We had a surprise birthday for her with all the kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and just few great great grandkids. She was so surprised but had a great time as all of us did too.
My Mother was born in Milwaukee and at 18 came up to Plymouth to stay with her sister who was 15 years older and married. It was then that she met my Father who was a year older and working for her sisters husband. They fell in love.....he went to war.....when he came back they married and had 9 children. I am the 2nd oldest.
My Dad died 20 years ago. She misses him terribly but goes on because she is a strong woman. I do not know anyone who is kinder, funnier, softer, and more loving then she is.
I am so thankful to have had this woman as my mother.

How wonderful that your mom is still with you and that you have such fond memories. It looks like she had a wonderful time.

I have started posting again, but not very well. I can't write anymore. I think that I will just start small and share little bits.
