I continue to add to my water's edge scene with reeds floating amongst the Pickerel Weeds as well as a few lily pads. Once I am happy with this....I will add the foreground. I am really happy with how this is progressing now.
Did you come up with your design after you found your foundation piece of fabric, or did you hunt for the "perfect" piece of fabric to fit your design? Just curious, because it looks so perfect.

I think you should be happy, it is the perfect touch to give it the realism and feel of a slow moving current.
