Christmas With My Mom

We celebrated Christmas at my Mothers's house today,
She is 87 and doing well.  My mother had nine children of which I was the second oldest.
My younger sister Susie had a cake made up using a photo of my Mom and Dad in the middle and each of her nine children in the others.

This is Me on the left, my sister Vicki (who had the mumps) and my other sister Bonnie.
It was Christmas morning and we each got a new doll.

We had a wonderful dinner provided by all.  I brought Nellie Durands
Aliscious Potatoes which were a big hit!  Thank you Nellie for sharing your recipe.
It was a good day for all.
Merry Christmas to my Mother!

How wonderful! 87 and still going strong sounds just great. So glad that your family is able to get together-that sure means a lot.
