Last Wednesday I woke with a sore throat. Thursday I had a really bad cold.
So I have not been back into the studio until today. I am finished and have just sewn on the binding tonight. The title I chose is partly from Terri Stegmiller. Thanks Terri for the great idea. Since she suggested "Chickadee Trail", I thought I needed to add two more chickadees further in the distance on the right side.
You can barely see them in this photo which is really the quilt lying on my cutting table, but I rotated it to show it to you.
This is a shot of my studio all cleaned up.
Pretty small but it is efficient!
Once I get to the binding I clean the studio because one thing about a small studio, once it is a mess caused by construction, it is total chaos.
Meanwhile I have been putting pieces of fabric on my design wall looking for something that would speak to me. I found this one today. I remember buying this maybe about 6 mo. ago. I just thought it was a bit of a stretch but now I
am seeing something in this unusual piece of fabric.
I think it will be fun to work on.

Using Terri's name and adding the new chicks was a great idea. I love how they show in the distance, almost hidden.

That is a great title!
Studio looks pretty good for having had a cold. Hope you feel better:)
I would like my studio to be that clean after each top is finished, but it isn't. I guess I need to be more disciplined like you.
I hope you are feeling better and the cold vanishes quickly.
Chickadee Trail is sublimely beautiful. Your work is lovely!
Good title. Beautiful quilt. The addition of the more distant chickadees works perfectly! And even cleaned up my studio space never looks that good!
I love that green fabric, is it a commerical print?
studio looks good, I forgot to take a picture of mine after I cleaned it, just last week and now it is already messed up again.:(
