The Border

I worked last night on my border.  I wanted it to add to the piece with a natural textural feel to it.
I added some of the colors found in the goose as well.
I am pretty happy with it.

the border is a perfect finish to the piece.

The border is great, but the inner border looks a lot like a fence to my eye, and adds even more of the outdoors to it.

What a great job!

That border really makes me feel like I am walking through a window. Really gives depth to the piece, but keeps the natural feel.

This border makes me feel as though I'm looking out through a window in a rustic out building. The limited viewing area makes seeing only one goose make sense. We all know there is never just a lone goose ... especially where there's a field of corn for the taking.

it's beautiful! I look at this and I can feel the wind blowing through the corn stalks. nicely done Barbara!
