Swans & Snow

No. 29 "Swan Lake"

No. 30 "Awaiting The First Snow"

I have been working on my commission again. I did the Swan quilt first and have it completed now. Then I worked on the snow themed quilt yesterday and today. That one might have been influenced by an upcoming snow storm we are going to have on Tuesday night and Wednesday.
We got about 4 inches today too! Must have put me in the mood!
I will start quilting it tomorrow.

I am laughing because you have gone from summer to fall to winter! What a long commission:)

They look great, especially the perspective on the second piece.

I love the snow one. It looks like that around here now. I agree that the perspective is perfect. Is it appliqued or fused?

Looking at your work gives me goosebumps! Not because of the implied cold with the snow scenes, but because it is so wonderful.

This commission has you digging deep within to create so many art quilts. Your reservoir is amazing.

Both are wonderful pieces for the collection. We are getting something tomorrow, but I think it will be more rain than snow.
