The frog is a photograph printed on fabric and quilted. I debated on adding this for some time. Still not sure about adding a photo rather than duplicating it as I have done with the lily and the dragonflies. Not to late to change my mind.
I like the frog the way it is! And I like your hidden dragonflies, too. This piece is coming along very well! You've really captured a mood here, and put it on the quilt. I feel like I'm right there with the lily pads when I view this. And the frog and dragonflies are just a wonderful added delight when you realize they are there!
I have begun the quilting and have added some hidden delights.

The realism is great! I love the frog on the lilypad. Is that a frog print fabric?
Just great how the light in the blossom creates this translucent effect! And the slight tremble of the reflection in the water. I love it.

This is wonderful. I saw the dragon fly easily, but had to look hard for the frog. Love it.
