Organic Line Quilting

I have been working hard finding time to at least do a few of my organic lines in the background of my goose quilt. This morning I got all the way to the top of the reeds.
It is not hard....just time consuming and you go through a lot of thread. I am happy with the results and think it suits this piece perfectly.

Today is our (Bob and I) 28th wedding anniversary. We were both married before and he had two girls (Robin and Christy) and I had two boys (Jason and Jon). Then we had Molly together.
We are very lucky to have been able to blend our two families perfectly together and
we love them all as our own children. Tonight we are going out for dinner to celebrate.

Happy Anniversary!

And I like the way you decided to quilt this. It will add even more of a feeling of motion to the piece.

Happy Anniversary! It's great that you both found each other AND that you didn't stay "stuck".

Hope you find more time soon to continue quilting. I can't wait to see MORE!

Hey, that white fabric looks exactly like the stuff I bought today. Your quilting looks great.

Congratulations, Barbara. It's hard enough to build a family with the children of one marriage--I have great admiration for the "blended" ones.

WOW! 28 years! People always say "congratulations" when a young couple get married. I have always felt the congrats are more appropriately saved for double-digit anniversaries -- and you guys are almost to your THIRD decade! Now, THAT is worth some congratulatin'! Imagining you and Bob enjoying a wonderfully sweet celebration!!
