This quilt has sold to a health care facility in Illinois. It warms my heart that it will be viewed by those in need of an escape from what they may be facing or their loved one facing. Always special to me when my work is received in this way.
Congratulations! Health care/doctor's offices usually have the worst art. I often think about donating a quilt there to perk things up. Usually the art is very dark abstracts or faded prints, all blueish. My neurologist's office is the worst- dark fragmented glass glued together all over each other, all sharp and twisted.
I love the idea of this piece in a health care facility, not only is the subject calming but I think quilts are more calming and warm than a painting on a wall.
