Head Lines

He has a head!   I like to put the head shape up first and cut holes for the eyes using the tracing paper as a guide.  Once the holes are in I fuse the eye ball and pupil behind the white fabric.
Then the beak is put on as it is buried in feathers just like the beak on the Barn Owl.  Once that is looking good I start building  the feathers.

A baby owl is born, he is so beautiful as is all of your owl series. I just saw a gorgeous owl photo on face book, had his wings outstretched and a nice pose, but couldn't find a site for it.

browsing around on the web I came across a beautiful carved wooden owl in flight that mounted on a wall. Oh how I thought of you! Had it been affordable, or I rich, I would have bought it and sent it your way!! I adore this guy!!
