I have begun work on the baby quilt that I will give to my newest grandchild due in October.
I always enjoy going back to piecing after being away from it for so long.
This will have an inner border of prairie points and then an outer border that is white and a red binding. The back is the Dr. Seuss fabric that you see everywhere.
Mother's Day brought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with a hanging plant and
a Kindle. I have already downloaded 4 books and love it more than I thought I would. I will never give up real hands on books but I must say it is easy to read and carry with you and even email from.
I tried blogging on it, but that is a little harder due to the small screen etc.

Your pinwheels are so fun, perfect for a baby quilt. I think I should do some piecing, my free motion is a mess, I am out of practice;) My daughter won a kindle, if I heard her right, so that will be mine I hope.

I love my Kindle - got it for Christmas. Have only used it for books so far - but it's great to take with me when I go somewhere (or to hold and read in bed at night).

Lucky latest grandchild!
What a wonderful quilt for a child! That baby is going to be happy:)
I use Rich's Kindle and I like it for its accessibility. The library is a bit far from me now and not super well stocked.
This is a delightful baby quilt ... so fresh and cheerful.
Glad to hear how much you like your Kindle. There's one in my near future, as well. I'm looking forward to not having to hold up heavy books while reading in bed.
Beautiful post. Quilt, flowers, Kindle, it's all good! I'm envious.
