More Than Meets The Eye

"More Than Meets the Eye"
17" X 29"

Here is my interpretation of June's photograph for the Interpret This group.
I wanted to dive into all the green leaves and find all the life that lives below.

I made my butterfly appear to be the only thing there, at first glance.
Then  I added moths, ladybugs, spiders, caterpillars, inch worms  & ants.

The swaying pieced background is the breezy day in the garden.  Read more by clicking on the side bar button for Interpret This....and see other interpretations!  It is well worth the visit.

I LOVE it!!!! A perfect assortment of fabrics, and very busy, my favorite kind of quilt! You need to enter that one in a contest. It's a best of show in my opinion.

The buttons on your sidebar don't work for me. They must not be links, or am I the only one that can't get them to work?

Barb, You have really stretched yourself. It was worth the wait. Very, very, very good. I echo everything that has been said by the others. You have captured the muted colors of the lawn or garden below the surface, not too bright, and not at all dull, excellent. What an eye you have! Thanks again. Hugs...

Love it, love it, love it!!! You are so creative and what's the word.....prolific...diversified...creative? All of the above. I would never have thought of using that butterfly fabric in that way (I have that fabric).
