The background is quilted and the furthest away parts are finished. The fog is in. Looks dreary and lonely right now but it is going to perk up a bit now. The fog drove me crazy with the invisible thread not cooperating. I was not very patient with it and got frustrated working with it but persevered. It does a nice job of disappearing so it is worth the effort but still not my favorite to work with.
The fog really works nicely in this piece, and I would say it was worth it to get such a realistic feel to the scene.
